Ticket purchase
Please note Eirecopter flying lesson tickets are supplied, marketed, provided and made available to be purchased for a specific person to undertake a flying lesson.
By checking the box you indicate acceptance of these terms and conditions and the limitation of liability set out herein, the purchaser also undertakes to make the recipient aware of these terms and conditions.. By continuing to use the website you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Your electronic acceptance of these terms and conditions has the same effect as if you physically signed an agreement with Eirecopter.
Eirecopter flight tickets are currently issued to enable a person to engage in a flight training lesson at Newcastle Airfield A63RX03.
These flying tickes are valid for and may only be used in the period May to Sept 2025
Please note
Flying lessons are flown on weekend days Saturday/Sunday only during our flying season May to September 2025. Please book minimum of three weeks in advance of required date.
If the weather is not suitable on the day we will inform you. Please do not call to check weather on the day as we are very busy on flying days and unable to take your call.
On purchase of a flight ticket, the purchaser has agreed to these Terms & Conditions also for and on behalf of the recipient of the flight ticket and undertakes to advise any third party recipient of same.
Note: the 40 minute helicopter flight lesson is for 20 minutes flight time and 20 minutes ground pre-flight briefing.
The 60min helicopter flight lesson is for 30 minutes flight time and 30 minutes ground pre-flight briefing. This ground briefing for the helicopter is mandatory despite any previous experience.
Airplane flight lessons are for 30minutes and 60 minutes flight time. Weight limit of 125kg, applies.

We do not do pleasure flying. All our flights are training lessons and are part of the syllabus for the PPL(H) flight training course as approved by EASA and as such no more than two (2) persons can be on board one being the instructor.
Booking:
Flight lessons are flown on weekends subject to weather conditions. Please contact 01-2811110 ( leave a message if not answered) to arrange a booking. You can also email info@helicopters.ie with your Flight lesson ticket number and mobile contact number.
Do not text or call any mobile you may have been called from as they are not monitored. Please call the office number ONLY at 01-2811110.(again leave a message)
A basic level of the English language is required to understand instructions from your ground and flight instructors.
Descriptions:
The stated duration of the lesson is determined by lesson type and may differ from lesson to lesson and may depend on the weather.
Refunds:
All Eirecopter flight lessons are non-refundable. Customers are entitled to a seven (7) day cooling off period, which begins on the day the flight lesson ticket was purchased.
Lost, Stolen or Destroyed.
In the event of a flight lesson ticket being stolen, lost or destroyed, it may be rescheduled or flight lesson ticket may be replaced under certain circumstances.
Postponement:
Eirecopter reserves the right to postpone flights due to unforeseen circumstances e.g. weather conditions. In this event, the flight lesson ticket holder will have the opportunity to reschedule the event. Rebooking must be made within 30 days by the ticket holder.
Bookings cannot be made through email or text messages. Do not text or call any mobile you may have been called from as they are not monitored. Please call the office number ONLY 01-2811110.
Weather conditions on the flight day may result in flight times being delayed or cancelled. Please allow extra time for your lesson.
Flight lessons may be transferred by the person who purchased the flight lesson only. This must be done prior to the flight lesson expiry date.
Please note these terms and conditions before buying as no exceptions can or will be made.
Failure to attend:
Any appointments that cannot be met by you and are not rescheduled at least 48 hours prior to the appointment start time will result in forfeit of the fees for that lesson.

Restrictions:
Person must be over 15 years and must be able to enter/exit the helicopter/plane unaided. Please contact the office for further clarification required.
Disorderly Conduct, Consumption of alcohol and/or any illegal substances is strictly prohibited on the day and will result in cancellation of your flight lesson. There will be no exceptions to this
PLEASE NOTE WE AT ALL TIMES RESERVE THE RIGHT TO WITHDRAW OUR OFFER OF SERVICE AND ISSUE A FULL REFUND. THIS DECISION IS GENERALLY BASED ON SAFETY CONCERNS AND ONCE MADE, IS FINAL AND IS NOT SUBJECT TO APPEAL ON THE DAY
Flight lessons tickets are issued by Eirecopter for a specific training course carried out on specific days and strictly remain valid for the period as stated on the flight ticket i.e May to Sept 2025 only.
Any unused services which have passed the expiry date are non-refundable. All services muse be used within the valid offer period
Spectators:
Spectators/Friends are welcome but there may be restrictions on numbers due to safety regulations
Terms Generally
Eirecopter reserve the right to change these terms & conditions at any time without prior notification. This will mainly apply when changes !3in law or procedures are introduced by IAA or EASA.
